Weblearn is the University's Virtual Learning Environment VLE where students can find learning resources such as lecture notes, reading materials, discussion forums, quizzes and online submission tools. All students will be able to login to Weblearn as soon as they have their London Met IT account details. Modules you are registered on for your course will become available on your Modules page one week before the start of teaching. Blackboard is the brand name that we call Weblearn, so don't worry if you see the terms used interchangeably. Blackboard Collaborate is a bolt-on to Blackboard, which is essentially a virtual classroom used frequently for live lectures, workshops, tutorials and meetings - should you need to attend one during the year. Many lecturers use this to pre-record material too and these are posted on the relevant section of a module page on Weblearn as part of your learning resources for you to view whenever you need them.
