A: Thanks for asking! A: I think they are. They are leak proof, tipped them over with liquid in them and they didn't leak. I have also used in freezer then microwaved with lid slightly off center and it was fine. The only thing is one fell out of the freezer and lid and container cracked, the lid part of the screw part cracked in several pieces came off, on container itself a small chip broke off. Of course didn't plan on it falling out of freezer. I'm sure any fresh veggie will do nicely. I use these minis a lot, also make up tartar sauce, melt butter, nice size for individual dips.
