Liliana Vess is one of Magic The Gathering's oldest modern Planeswalkers, a member of what is known as the Lorwyn Five, a collection of the first five Planeswalker cards ever released. Liliana Vess has appeared in a large number of cards and Planes, being one of the most important characters in the Multiverse. She has been at the center of multiple conflicts as a hero and a villain. Liliana has gone by different names and made contracts with different demons and deities. She is a necromancer primarily aligned with black mana and has never been seen with any other color within her. Liliana was born on the Plane Dominaria and resided in the Benalia region with her father and brother Josu.
