Plots could be linear. Or not.
Thrust into a world so unlike your own everything was disorienting. The first year hidden in Imladris had felt like the morning after a jarringly realistic dream. Spots blurred your vision and you were half convinced nothing was even real. It was dangerous, you knew, but those fears were quelled with the notion that death would mean it all had been real afterall. Dawn broke, the sun cresting high in the sky, but it was barely seen over the mountains. You had not been given an invitation so you relaxed in a room while you waited for his meeting to be done. You had no ill will that you had not been invited to attend the meeting. It seemed rather boring to begin with and you enjoyed the opportunity to lie down. After a while, your elf ears heard his footsteps approaching the room you lay in. You rose to your feet as he entered. He seemed to be moving quite quickly. You narrowed your eyes and moved to start getting ready to leave as well. He stopped you and furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. You moved to continue but he stopped you again. Your face fell as you met his gaze again.
And have you met those hobbits? Flighty and fearful as long as danger was near and it was always near; haunting the legolas x reader of your vision, a jumpscare waiting around every corner. Had it made him uncomfortable?

Suffocated by a blanket of despair, you briefly considered offing yourself. Even from the low spots at which they stand, the Hobbits can see your fonding eyes towards the archer. Despite what Gimli had told you about Elves, you found Legolas to be good company during those restless nights, a great comfort even. However, it was safe to say that she was not expecting the response that she got. Or perhaps it was nothing to him, a passing thought in his mind of one of his friends. Legolas rolled his eyes. You jogged a bit to catch up with the group that had already set on their way.

But before she could even react, she was ushered into the nearest door and pressed against the cold stone once more. They did not tell me; they do not need to. For a moment, your thoughts are clouded by Legolas. You had seen Legolas in the heat of battle: graceful and deadly, slinging arrows with startling accuracy. This close to Legolas, even in the dim light of the stars, you could see the depth of blue in his eyes. Flora is your hero name. You tried to stand, but found it difficult in the thick layer of snow.
