Legend of zelda demise
Most gamers think of Ganon or Ganondorf as the mainline Legend of Zelda villain. After all, he's been Link's de facto nemesis since original classic. Unbeknownst to some, though, there exists an older, more malevolent foe in Hyrule. Though he resembles Ganondorf at first glance, this figure boasts many traits distinguishing legend of zelda demise from his successor.
Demise , also known as The Imprisoned in his sealed form , is the eponymous demon king of The Legend of Zelda series. He is the master of Demon Lord Ghirahim , and also the primal god of all evil in the entire Legend of Zelda universe. He would in later games be reincarnated as Ganondorf , and seek out to get the Triforce and conquer the world. Long before the events of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword , Demise led a hoard of monsters through the earth and led a conquest for the Triforce. He annihilated humans without mercy. The humans were so helpless that the goddess Hylia cut a large land mass of the ground and sent it skyward.

Demise is the final boss and overarching antagonist of Skyward Sword , and the franchise as a whole, the final form of The Imprisoned , and is the master of Demon Lord Ghirahim. Ghirahim successfully revives him in the World of the Past, and Link must defeat him. This eternal being has conquered time itself. It is the source of all monsters. According to tales passed down through generations, it appears differently in each epoch and to each person who lays eyes on it. In the first phase, Demise will perform simple slashes and punches. It is easy to see when he is about to attack, but he attacks very quickly despite his size , so this is where your skills with the Shield Bash are needed. Even with the Shield Bash, Demise won't be stunned at all; however, his guard will be down long enough to deal one or two slashes before he recovers. Also, don't overuse spin attacks, as a standard spin attack is slower than a regular sword slash. The Legend of Zelda series has become iconic. Not just for its amazing storytelling but one of the most well-known video game villains, Ganon. For those who haven't ever played Skyward Sword , major lore spoilers are ahead. The remake of this title which came out in on the Wii introduced the true origin story to every single Legend of Zelda title but most importantly gave us the background on why we always have a Ganon in almost every single game. It turns out Ganon's origins link back to Demise, the big bad revealed at the end of Skyward Sword.
He is a demonic entity with a humanoid appearance. His skin is made of what looks like dark scales, and in some parts bare with pale-gray. He is very muscular, with thick arms and neck. He wears a long, brown cape around his waist, embroidered with gold in a triangle pattern and held by a belt. His head is covered in flames in place of hair, and has a white, glowing scar on his forehead from what could be the spike embedded in his head while being The Imprisoned. It is worth noting, however, that according to Fi , Demise appears differently to everyone who sees him. The sword he wields resembles a corrupted version of the Master Sword , its hilt being the same general shape, but with a different design to the quillons or "wings" that make up the handguard, the Triforce engraving being inverted, the blade being significantly larger with a flamberge-esque edge, and being an overall darker color. Fitting his role as the Demon King, Demise is vicious and lacking in compassion, comparing mortals as being weak. Even though he apparently prides himself for his power, his thirst for power made him seek the Triforce, all while hurting and murdering innocent beings in his quest.
