For all the monumental success the Fox X-Men franchise earned across 13 films, the series eventually flamed out and is now being revived under the auspices of Disney and Marvel. After taking a surprisingly long time to find a director, the studio finally hired Rupert Wyatt to take the helm this past summer… but then he wound up leaving the ship.
