Our favourite slope this week was the Pala Central slope in Grau Roig, particularly during the mornings when great snow grooming made it very enjoyable. This morning the pistes felt hard and grippy, but by afternoon they softening up a little due to the mild temperature. The wind was noticeable on the highest slopes of Pas de la Casa, but almost inexistent around the forests of Grau. I love being up for first lifts as there really is no feeling like having the slopes to yourself and being the first to experience the soft corduroy lines of the piste bashers beneath your skis.
