Lauren LaVera born June 14, [1] is an American actress, stunt performer and martial artist. She is primarily known for being the leading actress in several horror films , which has led to her being called a " scream queen " by both critics and audiences. LaVera has received accolades for her performances, such as a Fangoria Chainsaw Award. One of LaVera's first film projects was being Anya Taylor-Joy 's stunt double in the psychological thriller Split She followed this with small acting parts in television series including Netflix 's Iron Fist and various short films before her breakthrough role as the resourceful heroine Sienna Shaw in Damien Leone 's slasher films Terrifier 2 and the upcoming Terrifier 3 —both installments in the Terrifier franchise. In , LaVera appeared as a guest judge on the fifth season of Shudder 's reality competition series The Boulet Brothers' Dragula In addition to acting, LaVera is a stunt performer , dancer, singer, and a martial artist, having been trained in Taekwondo , Kun Khmer , and Wushu , among others. LaVera has received training both in ballet and ballroom dance. LaVera was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At some point, she studied in Italy and became fluent in Italian. LaVera started her career as an actress and stuntwoman as a double or in bit parts with appearances in Split , Wetlands , and Iron Fist IGN 's review said that LaVera "rules as Sienna in her angel-winged fantasy armor as a final girl fighting for family, facing her demons, and screaming bloody war cries in Art's mocking face," [4] while Matthew Jackson of Paste wrote that "LaVera, tasked with injecting humanity into the sequel, lives up to this task with pure star power. A new Terrifier 3 image reveals the first look at the return of Lauren LaVera's Sienna in her winged costume. Check out the image below via Collider :. The image shows a snapshot of Sienna on a monitor, back wearing the warrior costume she fashioned in Terrifier 2 , complete with spiked shoulder pads and spreading wings. Art the Clown met his demise in the bloodsoaked ending of Terrifier 2 , when Sienna returned from the dead and decapitated him using a sword made by her father. But a twist could always be in store for Victoria, as director Damien Leone pulls out all the stops for the third installment in his cult hit slasher franchise. The third film is set during Christmas time, with Art unleashing his reign of terror on Miles County citizens on Christmas Eve. Summary Sienna returns in Terrifier 3 in her winged costume, ready for a rematch with Art the Clown. Terrifier 2 's cult success led to the third film and increased anticipation. Sienna's BTS image shows her in her warrior costume with spiked shoulder pads and spreading wings. Terrifier 3 will change up the franchise by being a Christmas slasher.
