Making builds is at the core of this ARPG, as not only can your character level up and gain unique buffs, but each skill you equip can get points you spend to make it more potent. But having decent killing techniques is only part of the puzzle, as your equipment truly dictates precisely how powerful you really are. Luckily, you can mitigate the sheer random nature of this by taking advantage of crafting. It may be tempting to just leave this whole mechanic until the endgame, but you should explore the Last Epoch crafting system as early as possible in the RPG game. Here is everything you could possibly want to know about Last Epoch crafting to help you make the best Last Epoch builds. The three main Last Epoch crafting materials you can find on your journey are affixes, glyphs, and runes. Your main resources are the many affix shards your enemies will drop on the ground or found by smashing open barrels and other destructible objects. You can only craft on normal, magic, rare, or exalted items. Your only option at this point is to sell it.

Affix Shards are consumable items which influence modifiers that are present on equipment. They can be added to most equipment through the use of crafting. Affix shards primarily drop from Enemies and Containers throughout Eterra. The player can pick them up like other items, taking up 1 square of space in the Inventory. Every affix shard can be then moved into the Forge with a dedicated button on the user interface along with runes and glyphs , where storage space is unlimited. Each item that can be equipped in a player slot can have up to four different affixes, with a varying strength through Tier Affix Shards can be consumed in crafting to introduce an affix, or upgrade the tier of an already present one up to 5.
In patch 0. These changes are primarily targeting affixes and items. In this devblog, we will be covering changes made to affixes, secondary defenses, minions, and some new item types. Every non-idol affix in the game has been changed in some way. We have a few key goals to achieve with these changes. First, to partition off defensive affixes from other affixes in many slots so you can choose damage or utility affixes without worrying that you should be focusing on defenses instead. Third, to have more of your offensive power should stem from items, so that getting item upgrades feels more impactful and rewarding. Class specific affixes have all been moved from being suffixes to now being prefixes.
Last epoch affixes
There are a total of 34 available rings in the entirety of Last Epoch. Rings are essential pieces of equipment that provide various bonuses and effects to characters. These rings come in different rarities, including basic, unique, and set, each offering distinct advantages to the wearer. I believe that in order to build the best builds in the Last Epoch, you must also farm the best rings because the additional bonuses massively impact your gameplay!
