This type of wood spawns infrequently, so it will take players time to gather 25 Dark Wood.

But one major frustration I kept running into was filling up my tiny starter chest almost instantly. Between gems, crafting materials, massive pumpkin collections — you need space to store it all! All they would need to do is have some way of unlocking them like they do for your personal inventory, or newer chest making options that have 3, 4 or more rows unlocked. I kept harvesting berries until I had two complete rows of each kind. I mean the two row chest has as many slots as the fully upgraded home chest, they're just blocked.

Aside from its rarity, Dark Wood tends to blend in very well with the color of the Forgotten Lands. And when I switched to eating just Berry Salads, I put a large chest out in the world right next to my berry bushes. Definitely worth crafting. It really depends. And one large chest is much better then several smaller ones, in terms of space saved. At some point, money and resources are no longer a factor in your decision making.
