Female characters don't often get the spotlight in the Naruto franchise. That's mainly because the title characters from both Naruto and Boruto are young boys who are working toward becoming shinobi. Despite that, many of the women of the shinobi world have some serious strength as well. The kunoichi in Boruto have very different skill sets, and though some of them haven't been at the forefront of the story, their skills are known by fans who've seen them in action as teens in Naruto and Naruto Shippuden.
