This is more or less the same design goal that leads to the BLK cartridge , but focuses on remaking the rifle instead of the cartridge. The final result is AR on top with the single upper design, long handguard, lots of Picatinny railing for optics, and running an ARish bolt carrier group and charging handle. After some hands-on time with this 7. Unlike the AK, where the barrel is permanently pressed into the receiver, the KS G2 features an AR-style modular configuration which consists of a barreled upper receiver, and a lower receiver that houses the fire control group and magazine.
Yes, I hand drew that diagram and added the text afterward. A week later, my bolt carrier returns, and the result is pretty good! I could do that all day. Thanks man. Totally dope, right? In my ideal world, I want the gun overgassed with a heavy buffer spring. You might need a slightly lighter buffer spring, but only slightly lighter. WELL, just because they fit in the gun does not ensure they will function. At the time of the test, the gas port size on the barrel was only 0. Quite honestly, it will cost you less if you just buy the gun pre-built, but it will even out in the end when you put a piston system and a free float tube on it.
