Located in a cosy garden setting surrounded by trees, flowers and a lotus pond away from the hustle and bustle of Pub Street, MAHOB is set in a traditional wooden house just a few minutes from the centre of town, and five minutes from Angkor Wat. The first time step to this restaurant I feel relaxing and surround by plant, upstairs seat is romantic view for evening. Food is great, I try crispy prawn and amok fish everything delicious. Are dishwasher sizes standard

Expect to find dishes featuring kuy fruits, water lily stems, edible flowers, fish and seafood from the Mekong and Tonle Sap. The entrees were sweeter and saltier than how we would like them to be. It is run by two sisters who are also the chefs of the restaurant. There is no air-conditioning but we felt fine. Food was just so so at Chanrey Tree, and terrible at Mahob. We were served very good freshly-baked bread while waiting for our food. MAHOB — the name says it all. The restaurant is spacious with beautiful interior. Service was very attentive. Slow cooked chicken with pumpkin puree and rice at Embassy. Please do not use them without our written permission. The relaxed setting is the ideal place to savour dishes made from ingredients bought at local markets and presented in new and creative ways.
