After briefly appearing in Narutothrough the immortal Akatsuki member Hidan, the cult of Jashin naruto remained one of the most intriguing unexplained mysteries in the series.
The manga series Naruto is home to some of the dastardliest villains in the Japanese world of comic books. While these villains might appear tame on the surface compared to villains from other series, their motivations, perceptions, and other outlooks can be quite terrible and atrocious. The mysterious god Jashin is the perfect example of one of Naruto 's twisted antagonists. Not much is known about the deity except from being an eldritch horror that revels in killing. Most of the information regarding Jashin is provided through Hidan of the Akatsuki. Hidan is an unhinged extremist that lives to serve the god, and being immortal, he does it quite well. Before every fight, he prays to Jashin for "a good kill," and if he fails to kill his opponent, he prays for forgiveness.

Jashin's symbol is an upside down triangle with a circle around it. Little of Jashin and his ways is known to those who aren't his followers, so named "Jashinists". According to Hidan , Jashin demands nothing less than utter death and destruction. In Akatsuki Hiden , Hidan frames this as a public service, saving people from the fear of death by killing them. One's neighbours are the most ideal target, but Hidan explains to Ameyuki that a "neighbour" requires more than physical proximity; Hidan spends most of his time with Kakuzu , but he will never consider Kakuzu to be his neighbour because he hates Kakuzu. Hidan always prays to Jashin before a fight, asking for a "good kill". If he is unsuccessful, or is not allowed to kill, he prays for forgiveness. They were unable to turn up much conclusive information about the religion, and in fact could not locate a single worshipper. With so little information to go on, Konoha's official report offered the possibility that Jashin was in fact an invention of Hidan. Mirai Sarutobi , with help from Kakashi Hatake and Might Guy , is able to stop the Jashinists and save the sacrifices. Hidan is the "successful experiment of the Jashin religion's secret techniques", which makes him immortal; lack of nutrition is the only known way he can die. In addition to immortality, Jashin's followers can use certain jujutsu , creating voodoo -like links with targets whose blood they've ingested for as long as they remain within the perimeter of Jashin's symbol. With Hidan's Death Controlling Possessed Blood , he links himself to his targets, causing them to experience any injuries that he does; because he's immortal, he can kill targets by giving himself fatal wounds.
The Commandments of Jashinism are: Never leave a sacrifice alive No man made pleasures alcohol, sex, drugs, etc Your children must be Jashinist The only way to leave Jashinism is to commit suicide Enjoy pain, understand pain, and live life without fearing pain Deprivation and sacrifice are good ways to show devotion, do it often Jashin naruto is one more, but I omitted it because I could sum up two commandments in one, jashin naruto.
I do not like these so-called "Commandments" because I believe them to be very misleading. There is one more, but I omitted it because I could sum up two commandments in one. The actual fourth commandment was "once those who have committed themselves to Jashin, they cannot leave. I believe that only a couple of these might be true commandments, however most of them are likely conjured by "Hidanists" - fanatics who have created their own form of the religion based on what they interpreted through Hidan, an anime character in the serialized manga Naruto written by Masashi Kishimoto, who is an overly exaggerated and grossly inaccurate version of what a Jashinist is. Hidan should not be used as a source when learning about Jashinism.
One of the biggest mysteries in Naruto is finally about to be answered in the new sequel to the successful manga, Konoha's Story - The Steam Ninja Scrolls , which will unveil the secret of the evil god Jashin and his dreadful cult. After briefly appearing in Naruto , through the immortal Akatsuki member Hidan, the cult of Jashin remained one of the most intriguing unexplained mysteries in the series. In Naruto , Akatsuki was a powerful organization of evil shinobi working to collect the Tailed Beasts. Every member of the group was incredibly dangerous and had unique powers, but none was so bizarre and memorable as Hidan, an immortal man that could survive even being cut to pieces and a fanatic follower of a mysterious god called Jashin. Hidan was responsible for killing Asuma Sarutobi, a beloved Konoha shinobi and Shikamaru's master and mentor , before being taken out by Shikamaru himself. Many years later, it's up to Asuma's daughter, Mirai, to unveil the truth about the cult of Jashin. The protagonist, Sarutobi Mirai, is a young kunoichi who is given the mission to accompany the former Hokage, Kakashi Hatake, and his friend Might Guy , on a mission to the neighboring Land of Steam.

He is a devout worshipper of Jashin , and takes it upon himself to be a missionary of the faith. As a member of the Akatsuki, he was partnered with Kakuzu , despite the pair's somewhat mutual dislike of each other. He was also the second newest member of Akatsuki at the time of Tobi 's introduction.

Doing drugs that aren't for medicinal purposes and drinking alcohol are understandable sins. To inflict pain on and experience that pain yourself teaches you to not wish that pain upon another and it helps you empathize with those who already felt that pain. All Jashinists are peaceful. One of the biggest mysteries in Naruto is finally about to be answered in the new sequel to the successful manga, Konoha's Story - The Steam Ninja Scrolls , which will unveil the secret of the evil god Jashin and his dreadful cult. Hidan claims that this technique was a gift from Lord Jashin. The Commandments of Jashinism are: Never leave a sacrifice alive No man made pleasures alcohol, sex, drugs, etc Your children must be Jashinist The only way to leave Jashinism is to commit suicide Enjoy pain, understand pain, and live life without fearing pain Deprivation and sacrifice are good ways to show devotion, do it often There is one more, but I omitted it because I could sum up two commandments in one. Don't have an account? Deprivation can mean depriving yourself of anything from food to understand the pain of those who are starving to human contact to understand the pain of those who are lonely. The mysterious god Jashin is the perfect example of one of Naruto 's twisted antagonists. I have no qualms with this commandment.
Not a whole lot of information is available about them told in the canon story.
Chapter 2 of Konoha's Story teases that the cult of Jashin will play an important part in the story, giving Mirai a chance to make peace with her father's memory. Hidan was responsible for killing Asuma Sarutobi, a beloved Konoha shinobi and Shikamaru's master and mentor , before being taken out by Shikamaru himself. The existence of one god also begs the question of if there are other gods as well, and if so, would they help the heroes combat the ever-growing threat of cyborgs, Otsutsuki, and Divine Trees currently faced in Boruto? I do think it can be expanded upon a bit more. Mirai Sarutobi , with help from Kakashi Hatake and Might Guy , is able to stop the Jashinists and save the sacrifices. How do people get "no sex" from "no man made pleasures" when the next commandment states their children must be Jashinist? Pain is a gift from Jashin; Pain is a tool to help us understand one another. Personally, I sacrifice blood whenever Jashin does good things for me. The more you sacrifice the less you have which shows you are unselfish. With that in mind, you cannot kill others unless you have died.
Bravo, your idea is useful
In my opinion, it is an interesting question, I will take part in discussion. I know, that together we can come to a right answer.
Here those on! First time I hear!
