There are lots of things to unlock, with many of them connected to defeating certain bosses. Isaac unlocks, some are a little more hidden, including what might be Repentance 's most interesting series of unlocks. Tainted characters are new versions of every single Binding of Isaac character, with their core abilities reimagined to be more interesting to a fan of modern roguelikes, isaac unlocks. To say The Binding Of Isaac is a deep game would be an understatement. What's more, is with a handful of acclaimed DLCs over the years, the game continues to get deeper. An area that is balanced quite well on this front is the playable characters. Several are quite easy to unlock, and a novice player will do it with some effort, while others are only for those who have truly mastered what the game has no offer. Completion marks are earned by completing specific objectives in The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. As you complete these objectives, the post-it note on the character select screen fills up with Completion Marks. If objectives are completed in Normal mode, the completion marks are solid black. If objectives are completed in Hard mode , the completion marks are outlined in red. Earning a completion mark in Hard mode will unlock marks for both Normal and Hard modes, even if the prior wasn't unlocked.
