That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is easily one of the most popular and recognizable anime in the isekai trend of the last several years. To this end, it's inspired its own subgenre of isekai, wherein the protagonists reincarnate into the most seemingly pathetic and innocuous forms. Despite how disadvantageous this would seem, it's only helped Reincarnated as a Slime take several mediums by storm. Fans of the anime or the original light novels are sure to be excited, so will be eager to know where the film takes the cast, and whether it's canon. As expected, the lead characters are Rimuru, the titular overpowered slime Demon Lord himself, as well as Benimaru. The film is set in a new region called Raza, which is ruled by a queen who apparently possesses incredible and mysterious powers. Dragged into a conspiracy involving the queen, the group is soon confronted by someone who claims to have close ties to Benimaru.

What is the difference between the manga, web novel, and light novel? Are they all canon? I am sooo confused. Also does anyone have a timeline of the verse? The Manga is canon as it follows the story of Tensura accurately.
