Ever since the series kicked start, the question of whether it lives up to the standards that Naruto set has been discussed a lot, and there are quite a few reasons for fans to be taking a look at it. Throughout the Naruto series, Naruto Uzumaki dreamed of becoming the Hokage and being acknowledged by everyone. Unfortunately, the story only spent a little time actually show him as the Hokage. Boruto fixes this issue, as for the entire series so far, Naruto Uzumaki is the Hokage of Konohagakure and gets to live out his dream, which makes it worth watching. While Boruto side-steps the filler conundrum that Naruto had to deal with, it relies on anime-canon content that doesn't happen in the manga but is very much a part of the canon. Unfortunately, despite that, the story focuses very little on the manga canon, and for the majority of the time, fans are treated with supplementary material that isn't nearly as interesting as the manga. When it comes to Boruto , the animation is almost always quite enjoyable, and for a few episodes, the quality shoots through the roof thanks to the incredible effort of the staff working on them.
