But I generally liked the skill and always intended to give it another shot. So, I picked up a common Strength-Stacking skill tree from poeninja and made some adjustments to fit Infernal Blow — and it looked pretty damn good on paper. Then I went to work.

This skill requires a sword, axe, mace, staff or unarmed. Damage conversion: Like all converted damage, the fire portion of Infernal Blow's damage will be modified by both fire damage increases and physical damage increases. Duration: If the debuff caused by Infernal Blow is still active when the monster dies, it will explode even if Infernal Blow was not the killing blow. Debuffs: When the attack made with Infernal Blow hits an enemy, it applies two debuffs: the first debuff can stack up to six times and creates an explosion that deals damage based on your weapon damage when it reaches full charges or when it expires. The second debuff causes the enemy to create an explosion that deals damage scaling with its maximum life when it dies. Explosion: The corpse explosion deals fire secondary damage in an area and cannot be reflected. It is neither an attack nor a spell, so in particular it is not affected by modifiers to melee damage , weapon damage or spell damage , but is affected by Elemental Damage with Attack Skills. While in a party, the explosion ignores the increased life added for each player beyond the first and treats the monster's life as if you were solo. The charged debuff explosion deals the exact same damage types as the melee hit, plus area damage. If the debuff reaches 6 stacks, then the hit that applied the 6th stack determines whether or not the explosion is Ruthless. If the debuff expires for any other reason such as the monster dying then the hit that applied the 1st stack determines whether or not the explosion is Ruthless. Monster Types: Magic blue named and rare yellow named monsters, and unique monsters orange named can be exploded. Requires Level 12—70 , 33— Str. Attacks with your weapon, applying a charged debuff to enemies hit by your strike, and an uncharged debuff to any other enemies hit.
Repeated hits refresh the duration of the debuff and add another stack. Logout Talk to Weylam and take Diamond Flask as a reward.
Infernal Blow of Immolation is a melee strike skill that deals physical damage to fire damage and applies a charge debuff to the user on hit. When the debuff reaches six charges, an area of effect explosion is released around the user, dealing damage to nearby enemies. This skill requires a sword, axe, mace, staff or unarmed. Upon reaching 6 charges, expiring, or the enemy's death, the charged debuff is removed to damage that and other surrounding enemies. Enemies with either debuff explode when they die, damaging other surrounding enemies. Damage from this explosion cannot be reflected.
