Keeping that in mind, the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India AKFI has put out a list of the players who would be considered to be a part of the Indian men's and women's Kabaddi team for international fixtures. AKFI has selected top players at the Senior National Kabaddi Championships from the men's and women's category to be a part of the Indian men's Kabaddi team and Indian women's Kabaddi team respectively. AKFI has selected 38 players in each category, two of which have been kept on standby.
