Thanksgiving is coming to us and Local 13 has supported feeding the community for the last 24 years. The Executive Board meeting scheduled for Thursday, November 24, has been cancelled due to the Thanksgiving Holiday. Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24, , will be a paid holiday. Only registered persons who have qualifying hours in the prior payroll year and meet the availability requirements for at least two 2 of the five 5 days Monday through Friday exclusive of the holiday during the week in which the holiday falls, will receive a paid holiday for Thanksgiving Day. This means you must work or meet the availability requirement for at least two 2 days, Monday, November 21 st ; Tuesday, November 22 nd ; Wednesday, November 23 rd ; and Friday, November 25, Thanksgiving Day is one of the holidays that everyone has to meet the two 2 day availability requirements.
