Now the strange part,the serial number on the exposed part of the metal pistol grip frame looks like B but when the grip is removed the number usually covered by the grip on the same metal pistol grip frame looks to be ,?? Age and value would be helpful also thanks.

It has either 5 numbers or possibly 6 numbers with the first two stamped on top of each other It has 9 cylinders, double action, 2. The hammer is flat on the back and the firing pin is built into the frame. It does NOT have an all-in-one cartridge ejection. It looks a lot like the gun pictured at this link. I would appreciate learning anything you can tell me about age and history. Thanks so much!!!
