I am unable to see any bluetooth options on this notebook. Does the DV6 come equipped with bluetooth hardware? Please help me in this regard. It has core i5 processor and pre installed windows 7 home premium. Go to Solution.

Ask a new question. I am not being able to see option to switch on bluetooth on my windows 10 PC. I can see bluetooth in device manager but there is no bluetooth adapter in network adapter tab. I tried to installed it from the hp drivers on the website and when i do it tells me it must be switched on. I can't figure out what to do so could someone please help me figure out how to get the drivers so I can use bluetooth headphones if I get them. I hope we can get this resolved. On some of the newer dv6 models you have to use the corresponding model bluetooth driver for the model wlan card your notebook has. If you don't know what model wlan card your notebook has, go to the device manager, click to expand the network adapters device manager category, and there you will find the name and model number of the wireless network adapter. This package contains the software required to support the HP Integrated Module with Bluetooth Wireless Technology in supported notebook models running a supported operating system. The HP Integrated Module with Bluetooth Wireless Technology provides wireless connectivity to other devices from the integrated module of the supported notebooks. It also provides additional Bluetooth Profiles. If you are getting the message that bluetooth must be switched on, then you may need to install this software, restart the PC and use the software to turn on the bluetooth adapter, then install the above bluetooth driver.
