So there you have it; that's currently the only way that you can obtain Mew in the game. It's worth noting that you can also obtain Mystery Gifts via codes or even the internet, so Nintendo may choose to make Mew available via other means in the future. Anyone familiar with the original Pokemon games from the Game Boy era will know full well about the consumer-created lore surrounding the mythical Mew, and you can get one in Pokemon Let's Go Eevee and Pikachu. The creature who's DNA led to the creation of the all-powerful Mewtwo had a number of rumors circulating in regards to how players could go about catching the beast, with the most popular being to look under a truck on an island near the S. Of course, the creature has become much more accessible in recent years, and that remains the case in Pokemon Let's Go Eevee and Pikachu. Instead, Mew comes inside the Pokeball Plus accessory that gamers can purchase separately or with the new games. While the means of obtaining the Pokemon appears straightforward after this bit of knowledge, the process of transferring Mew over may leave trainers with a few questions — hence this guide. This takes place right near the beginning of the game, and after the opposing trainer has been dealt with players will see an icon appear on the game's main menu. Called a "Mystery Gift," fans familiar with the franchise's previous iterations will know exactly how this option works. For those less privy, simply make sure that the Nintendo Switch console is connected to the internet and select the "Get with a Poke Ball Plus". Doing so will transfer Mew over into the actual game, and from there players can utilize it in battles within Pokemon Let's Go Eevee and Pikachu.
Just got the game today and I'm really enjoying it. I've never counted, and haven't been in since the remodel, but it was way more than they've done of amiibo.

Since I'm here, watched all 8 eps of Castlevania yesterday. Fixed that for ya. Hopefully an event or promotion will occur in the near future that will allow players access to Mew in Pokemon Let's Go Eevee and Pikachu without the need for the Pokeball Plus accessory. Only a matter of time I think. It won't be shared between all players on the console, as each save file will need it's own PBP to get Mew. Main Quest. Super Mario. Still, players will have the mythical Mew, and the monster has always been more of a show piece that helps round out the in-game Pokedex rather than a truly competitive Pokemon. So ya. Still beats how they did mystical Pokemons in the old days aka s. Didn't they say specifically that you can't do that on the Let's Go website? Be good and maybe Santa. I can't wait to play it in a few hours!
If you like the idea of getting a powerful Pokemon in your arsenal right from the start, you might want to look into getting a Poke Ball Plus. Make sure your Switch is docked, then connect the device via the USB cable that came with it.
I don't think those ever got used in another game. Slonk 5 years ago 1 There has to be another way right? I got the cart alone because I don't play Pokemon Go and it's pretty expensive for only working on one game. If I had kids the pokeball would be more appealing. Been playing this most of yesterday evening and it's actually pretty god. Gravitron thats the same reason i think motion controls are stupid so ill be playing this in handheld only cause im not using motion controls stupid they dont add pro controller support. I was thinking about having my mom pick this up for 1 or both of the kids, she's always buying them Pokemon stuff every year, games, puzzles, clothes, cards, so it's to be expected, but maybe we'll pass. Demos are pretty rare these days. As a single 30 yr old man I think it would be a little weird personally. Looking forward to the real gen 8 in , but I'll treat this as a more casual game for now.
