In I began keeping a regular sketchbook. In general it takes about one to three months to fill up a book. I found writing in the notebooks to be sort of cathartic, especially with the stress of being new to Los Angeles, living on my own for the first time and having zero money. The only thing I missed about the old apartment is how spacious the house was: the huge bedroom, the big living room, a generous dining area and a kitchen in the middle of the house.
