By Tyde. It's not the easiest way to do it but if you can post screenshots here we could probably help you, at least with some stuff. You can't upload them directly to the forum or embed them in the post which is annoying but if you put them online somewhere you can link to them. Here's some quick tips:. Also with equipment I only keep stuff my characters can use right now in which case I give it to them to use or level 80 exotic and ascended items with selectable stats or a stat combination I know I use often. Anything else is very easy to replace if I ever do decide I want it and so not worth holding onto. Even level 80 exotics are easy to get but I don't have enough I hang onto that it's a problem. Anything else gets disposed of, in this order:. Personally, "what you need" depends on what your goals for your character are. It can vary for each profession and the quests your are embarking on. When I first started, I did not know either until I began to realize I had to have goals. For example, one of my goals was to have one character master all the crafting skills.

The amount of different items that fill the inventory on a daily basis is insane. Like just unnecessarily insane.

By Mal. Over a dozen items that you had to collect that served absolutely no purpose--you couldn't even sell them. They had some flavor text and that was it, you had to click and drag to destroy 17 or so items for no bloody reason. Who thought that was a good system?! This was incredibly annoying to a lot of people, which made it awesome to see these pointless achievement items fixed in Path of Fire; everything that goes into your inventory that's related to an achievement is either labelled as junk and quickly sells for some coin, or you can double click it, usually to get a bit of karma or something like that. Quality of life is always appreciated. So why the hell did the latest premier of Season 4 completely screw that up with the "That Belongs in a Museum" achievement items?

I find that every few months I need to sacrifice an afternoon to not playing and dealing with inventory mess. Many players may not choose this option as it is very tedious and time consuming. It costs 10 copper, so you can safely discard it. Especially skins which unlock in the wardrobe when you acquire them; the items itself has no use, but it's annoying to delete.
