I've tried loads of different things like stop accelerating in the air, before i hit the ramp, when i hit the ramp etc etc. The default keys to control pitch and roll in the air is the arrow keys, - the keys you use to steer also works for roll. Getting gold might require a bit of luck, just passing it with bronze or silver requires no luck at all. As said above it is all luck, I did like 10 tries and at the last one I not only passed it but got gold on it. My advise, keep pressing the keys it tells you on random quantities and try stopping the engine at random, with a bit of luck you'll pass.

There are 12 different driving lessons available there, all of which will need to be completed to at least a bronze medal standard in order to unlock the Wang Cars asset missions a little later on. To get gold medals in these challenges, however, players will need to push both themselves and the fast cars they'll be driving to their absolute limits. Completing every challenge to a certain standard will lead to special cars being parked outside the school, including a Super GT all bronze medals , a Bullet all silver medals , and a Hotknife all gold medals. The first challenge requires players to perform a burnout donut with an Infernus, which can be achieved by holding both the accelerator and the brake buttons at the same time while also tilting the left analog stick to the left or right. After performing a full degree spin, players should press and hold down the handbrake button and then release everything else at the exact same time.

The car will start to rotate; to get gold, look for the burn marks on the tarmac and use it to align your outer tire. Essentially this is just a handbrake turn, accelerate into the half-circle of cones and press the handbrake button while still holding down W. Turn the car left or right and it will start to spin. When the nose of the car is pointing around the cone so you won't hit it release the handbrake and accelerate back to the starting point. Due to the time limit you might need to use the handbrake again to come to stop within the cone box. The two issues are the turn and the parking. To maximize turn, try to be a close to edge of cones so that you can get a better time.
