I bought a fully legit, physical copy of GTA4 years ago, complete with serial number and everything. I never ended up installing it because my computer couldn't run the game with it's integrated graphics. Now its many years later and I have a very powerful machine and I found this game kicking around in my closet. So I installed it and everything went great, until it was time to activate. I don't know if it's really "activation" , they call it activation at one point but they just call it a release date check at another point. But either way, it fails.
