For now, I plan to get some fun colored pens and start figuring out my me-gic and getting a start on stringing together my own grimoire It can be as easy as putting some of our favorite quotes together, writing a journal no pencils. This felt especially real to me for personal reasons and I think that Hilarie did a great job at leveling with the audience and being vulnerable with both her struggles and how she came out of it.

I quickly devour her books and then repeatedly pick them back up. Each chapter seemed to focus on a different important person in her life and I love how you can tell that she is made up of these interactions and important people in her life resulting in her grimoire. Hilarie shares so many of her experiences, favorite quotes, and advice in a way that is conversational and easy to understand. It felt like she was in the room with me while I was reading. Above all it is a modern guide or 'grimoire' if you will to modern womanhood for all those aspiring 'kitchen witches' and anyone who needs a nudge to try being more intentional and reflective in their lives.
