Melinda tries to reason with Lane and get her to speak with her mother, but Lane is not interested. Melinda is at home with Jim and she sees Anna once more who tells her it is happening. Melinda rushes to Lane's house and sees Lane and Todd arguing through the window, she tries to help but Lane turns her down. Melinda pleads with Brad to go to Lane to help her and he apologizes to Anna and asks for her forgiveness, which she does not give him.
