That meant the humus, utterly smooth and thick, served with a pool of punchy olive oil and sprinkled with paprika. That meant fattouche, often a great salad, here an excellent one, with ultra-fresh lettuce, tomatoes and cuke, and wonderfully airy pita wedges, deep-fried like crisped won ton wrappers. Between tastes and textures, it was full of life. The platter for two was well conceived, using a large pita as a base for the tomato sauce and meat juices to soak into.

In the winter, you could easily pass this place by but in the summer which I hope arrives sooner rather than later , they do have a cute little terrace. The restaurant describes itself as an authentic Lebanese restaurant, with Beirut being the capital and the largest city in Lebanon. This type of place probably gets most of its clientele through word-of-mouth, which is actually how I heard about it. During my last visit, we were a group of 5, with some vegetarians.
