Fusion 360 repeat sketch
The end goal is to create the same pattern of the holes over the entire surface, fusion 360 repeat sketch. Im creating grille holes on a square surface, how do I simply copy and paste the circle shape so I don't have to keep sketching the same concentric circle over the entire surface as a pattern? Or is there a better way to do this. Go to Solution.
I do now want to fill the remaining plane with as many cutouts as possible on X and Y. There should be a fixed spacing between each cutout. When I later on change the size of the plane the amount of cutouts should increase or reduce. A rectangular pattern can not fill the space but only create n instanes. I hope it's clear what I want to do.

I'm a complete beginner, I apologize if this is a silly question. I searched the forum and watched YouTube before posting. The answer might be out there I just couldn't find it. Or more likely it was in front of my face and I just didn't understand what I was looking at. I have a simple sketch that I'd like to repeat multiple times ultimately creating a sketch that is a repeating pattern. When the sketch is complete I'll extrude the sketch and use it in an assembly with other simple parts. As you can see the part is made up of a series of the same repeating pattern. I created a sketch of the base pattern and want to repeat that pattern thereby extending my sketch to the same length as the drawing. Sketch to be repeated What I mean is that it duplicated my sketch but they were not connected to each other and if I move one in space the other remains in place. I tried using the coincident constraint to 'connect' the two but don't feel as though I'm on the right path. Ultimately to be used in an assembly.

Can anyone help me? I am working a lot with geometrical polyhedra in Fusion where many of the faces are the same. A lot of the work is very repetetive and I am trying to increase my workflow speed when editing bodies. I am working on a Star Tetrahedron see screenshot. In this particular piece I want to repeat a sketch on every face in this case a simple triangle on 24 faces for extrusion etc..
Couple of questions or ideas. Is there an easy way to mirror or repeat that type of shark tooth pattern around a boarder? If manual line drawing is it then totally cool with that but wondering if a tool or that mirror function maybe? Also… Just watched Don P make a video on basically doing open chain. However it does seem like in the drawing they just did open chain rectangle and just bent it up for the bottle top. The Circular pattern tool in the sketch work space or revolve command in the design workspace is what you are looking for. Ahhh, Tin. You put a timer on yourself! Five minutes to go!
