One of the few faults we found in the More Trail v3 is with its upper. Given the shoe's high stack, we expected a more supportive fit. What we got instead was a light, stretchy, and airy mesh with some overlays that—while comfortable—did not sufficiently provide the support we needed. Assessing the shoe's breathability, we rated it as 3 out of 5. That's considered average amount of ventilation for a trail shoe. When the light illuminates the upper, it reveals numerous ventilation holes and a thin mesh that effectively facilitates ample airflow.

I had no problems tackling ultras in the nimble, light at least for the time, 8. The toe box is plenty round.

A huge amount of Fresh Foam X sits underfoot, providing a soft and bouncy ride. Extensive side walls and other elements provide a stable neutral ride while a comfortable but secure upper sits up top. A thick Vibram rubber outsole covers the bottom with massive lugs, making for an incredibly durable shoe that easily tackles road, trails, mud and more. The fit is normal to slightly wide with a slightly lower volume fit. The forefoot is slightly rounded with just enough room for the toes. This transitions into a normal width midfoot although I did have to tighten down the laces a little. The tongue is moderately thick and securely gusseted. This continues into a normal width heel. There is a moderately stiff heel counter in the rearfoot.
