Freecodecamp python certification
Python is considered one of the most popular programming languages in the world and it is only growing in popularity. It's a great first language to learn. My name is Beau Carnes and I created freecodecamp python certification course. This is my best course yet.
You can now learn Python coding fundamentals by building 15 projects — right in your browser. This represents more than coding challenges. And the 5 certification projects will involve building sophisticated projects that pass dozens of automated tests. The result is buttery-smooth execution. No waiting for a server somewhere to run your Python code and send the results back to you. If you enjoy the sub-millisecond test results you get from freeCodeCamp's JavaScript challenges, you're going to love this snappy new Python experience.

These certifications are all self-paced and completely free. You can build the projects right in a browser, or code them on your laptop or phone and deploy them to the cloud. All of the lessons and projects are publicly available. You don't even need to create a freeCodeCamp account to access them. But if you want to save your progress and eventually earn certifications, you will need to create an account. Note that all accounts are private by default. You can make your profile public in the settings, and can choose to make any certifications you earn publicly accessible as well. When you feel ready, you can build the certification's 5 required projects and get all of their automatic tests to pass. Once you've built all 5 projects, you can go into settings, accept freeCodeCamp's Academic Honesty Pledge, and claim your certification. Our bots will eventually audit all of your projects to check for plagiarism or other forms of academic dishonesty. If our bots flag anything suspicious, our team will manually review it. And if we determine you cheated, we'll revoke your certifications and permanently ban your account. So don't cheat. You'd only be cheating yourself.

I have been working through the Python for Everybody book on the free code camp site. I turned in my first project today and went to start the second and now the course is in the legacy section and the projects are not listed? Is there no longer a certificate offed for this course? If so, that is disappointing as this is my first course in Python. You can continue the video course that you started if you like.
Update July 2, the 4 new Python certifications are now live. We've been working hard on Version 7. Here's what we're building. Note: if you're already going through the current version of the curriculum, keep going. As you'll see, there's no reason to stop. And they will emerge on the other side as a well-rounded developer, ready for most entry-level developer jobs. As always, there are no electives. There is no guesswork.

I encourage you all to try the new Python video courses and Python certification projects. And please report any issues you discover on GitHub. If all goes well, we hope to roll these new certifications out to production next week. I want to thank everyone who participated in our closed alpha over the past few months, and who gave feedback on these new certification projects.

Happy coding. Here's how these certifications work: Each certification includes optional lessons to help you prepare for its 5 required projects.
