My point is why bother with formula at all? If we have to keep buffing how much we obtain then why not just go back to getting 20 on melee hit and having fortify effect to increase it. If for whatever reason, this buff still sees melee struggle to get 20 stacks, they will have to buff it again anyway. Also why would you tie a big defensive mechanic to damage dealt.
