The Formula Regional Middle East Championship was a multi-event, Formula Regional open-wheel single seater motor racing championship. After two years being based exclusively in the United Arab Emirates, the Formula Regional Asian Championship decided for it would become a multi-nation series once more and swap one of its Emirati rounds for a trip to Kuwait. That frees up the FRAC name to be used in eastern Asia, where that series had originally been based, which is what its promoter is planning.
