There are a multitude of different firework variations, but the base version is crafted with Paper and Gunpowder. You can add up to 2 additional Gunpowder to increase the duration of the fireworks flight prior to exploding, so a fair amount of flexibility is available. To craft a Firework Star, place Gunpowder and any dye s in a crafting menu. The more colors you add, the more will be incorporated into the explosion. To launch fireworks, select it in your hotbar and place it on any solid surface. The firework will immediately soar into the sky, and depending on the specifics of the firework you make, will explode at some point, with or without additional effects.
