I had to change all my pharmacy records from Dahl's when it closed. I had no choice. For five months I bought the same medication there at the same price. I am on Medicare. I got a discounted The people who work at Hy-Vee are generally very helpful. The only complaint is the pharmacy drive-thru gets extremely congested.

The staff is always helpful and the Fareway has the best meat. I have bought from more than one store and the meat is always good quality. I have always like Fareway, the one in downtown Ames was always the closest grocery store to where I lived. I heard there was a fairly new one close to where I live now in Des Moines so I decided Fareway is always a good experience, unless you're unorganized or unfortunate enough to go there on a Saturday morning or something. I did have good service today, except I brought my own grocery Came here to get some provisions after moving into my new place thinking it would be good to get more familiar with the local grocery options. My initial impressions walking into the store were I Just got gas and paid at the pump. I didn't go in or interacte with staff.
