Fallout new vegas saves

Log In Sign Up. How do I recover them? My friend just came over and decided to start his own save file. He just left, and about half of my save files were missing. I don't know why. I don't know if it's because I started only using quicksaves around that time not sure what the difference between a normal save and a quicksave is or if his save was a factor. I'm just wondering how I can recover them. I had over 60, caps and some amazing gear. I don't really want 44 hours of my life to be wasted. Can anyone tell me what I can do about this? My friend saved once in his file. Not sure if that effects anything. I fixed it.

How do I save the monorail? Is there a certain folder for these saves or is it just in the fallout nv folder.

With numerous divergent plot points, questing options and play-styles, accumulating plenty of "Fallout: New Vegas" save files isn't hard. Deleting your excess save files periodically can keep your "Load" menu from becoming a disorganized mess, especially if you have multiple characters. Each version of the game handles save files differently, primarily related to how the machines themselves store and manage the save data. Press "Windows-X" on your keyboard to launch the power user menu, and select "File Explorer" if you're running Windows 8. For Windows 7, click "Start" followed by "Documents. Select the "FalloutNV" folder, followed by the "Saves" folder. While the files themselves can be deleted, this folder should always remain intact to prevent any issues with creating a new save file. Select and delete the desired save files. If you only want to remove the files from the load screen but still want to preserve the data itself, cut the files and paste them into a different folder elsewhere on your computer. You can paste them back into the folder at any time to restore the files to a playable state.
