You should have plenty of locations unlocked in the vicinity if not the factory such as the Nuka-Cola Plant and the Flooded Metro , so you should have plenty of points from which to spring off. You're looking for a metal door leading into the metro next to the more traditional-looking metro station. As usual, follow your Pip-Boy's instructions, setting Aiding the Outcasts as the active quest so that locations can be easily found. Your time in the metro facility itself will be brief. What you're looking to do is to get to the other side, where Bailey's Crossroads itself another new location can be found. You might run into a stray Feral Ghoul or two in the metro, but these foes shouldn't provide a challenge for you no matter when you're encountering them whether you're level 20 or lower.

Brotherhood outcasts are members of the Capital Wasteland Brotherhood of Steel splinter faction collectively known as the Brotherhood Outcasts. They operate in the Capital Wasteland in the year Brotherhood outcasts are equal to their Capital Wasteland Brotherhood of Steel counterparts in terms of equipment and combat skill, making them some of the deadliest combatants in the Capital Wasteland, second only to the soldiers of the Enclave.
