Not sure if it's because my pickpocket skill is only in the 40's or whatever but I've reloaded the game time and time again to reset his inventory and Selvayn NEVER seems to have the bow on his person to steal or otherwise, though I know it's been tested that you can only steal it from falas selvayn apparently and only when using the misdirection perk, falas selvayn. Am I doing something wrong? Help, please!

What does "enter the cell" mean? Is there some trick to getting Falas to show up? I've sat in the chair and let the six hour time frame run through without ever seeing him. What is needed is for someone to determine where the boundaries of this particular gameworld cell are, and describe those boundaries here, in terms of Map Locations. When stealing the Glass Bow, there's a gap in the shack's wall boards, in the rear wall, which allows you to do falas selvayn pickpocketing from outside without having to enter his line of sight. Taking that bow forced him to re-equip his weapon, just like a follower, falas selvayn, and because of his primary skills he equipped the mace and thus could sell his unique bow.

As the name suggests, the building is derelict, with the doors, windows, and part of the roof missing, and large holes in the walls. The shack is against a cliff facing a valley down to the sea. On occasion he may not sell the bow, but instead have it equipped. If this occurs then it is still possible to obtain it via pickpocketing and using the Misdirection perk.
