Eve online salvage ship
I was thinking, If one lose a BS like the Leshak, or a Eve online salvage ship, a Titan… The wrecks from these ships can be salvaged, but do they give away some of the immensely costly modules parts that are required to build the ships? To my knowledge no… the salvage operations just give some parts, eve online salvage ship, usually never the expensive and rare parts that have been introduced with the latest industry patch…. Of course these modules could be damaged to various degrees, but once in a th could turn out ok…??
Being a new pilot in Eve is tough, especially on the wallet. As with everything else in Eve you need to get the salvaging skill. Next, you need the Salvage I modules for your ship. Then, once you find a wreck you lock it up and press the salvage module! There is also a ship called the Noctis that gives a bunch of bonuses such as a bonus in tractor beam speed and range as well as a bonus to the salvage cycle time. There are several that have 8 high slots. A salvage 1 module on average goes for about , isk more or less depending on where in New Eden you buy it so starting out you might want to go the route of 7 guns and 1 salvager.

Hello fellow capsuleers. This guide is focused on salvaging without a Noctis and very low investment. Aimed to help out newer players in e. This allows me to target 6 or 7 wrecks with 8 or so salvagers and start all salvagers in about 1 second or so. Really good for cleaning up after Havens and such in Nullsec. Pretty cool though! I will quote your explanation in the guide. Thanks a lot! So I built a couple salvager ships. A catalyst destroyer for a missions I deployed a MTUs on. And a speed atron frig for a wide field and can zoom to and fro.
Every time a ship is destroyed, a wreck is left behind. Already have a WordPress.
Salvaging is the practice of obtaining items from wrecks, which are left behind after a ship NPC or player is destroyed. Wrecks may contain loot which can be taken by anyone and salvage which requires specialised equipment to recover. Salvaging is a good secondary income source when doing PvE combat, as NPC wrecks can drop valuable modules or items, and their salvage is used to manufacture rigs. Salvaging is easy to train into , reasonably safe, and a good way for newer characters to participate in higher-level PvE content e. Every time a ship is destroyed, a wreck is left behind.
But of course, salvaging bring important materials used in Industry, so you will always find someone who want what you can retrieve from NPC wrecks. Before continuing, please answers some questions : are you in Alpha or Omega state? How do you salvage do you bring the same ship for missioning ans salvaging or different ones? Outfit a Noctis with tech 2 gear and salvage away especially lvl 4 missions, the rogue drones may not give much these days but the other groups still give a few million iskies per mission site. Well worth the few minutes spent salvaging imo. It can be good or average ISK depending on circumstances and luck, though as you develop your character and player skills it becomes less and less efficient compared to other endeavours. Highsec Scavenging can be one of the most lucrative careers for new players by a huge margin, bringing-in far more ISK than running level missions and mining with low skills. A few minutes after that I found an abandoned Vigil, only worth k ISK, but you take what you can get. There are billions to be made in abandoned drones alone, not to mention all the abandoned ships, unanchored POS modules, and the whole host of other things that highseccers like to leave lying around. If you learn to use D-Scan and the Probe Scanner, and train the skills needed for using probes, you will find that highsec opens-up into a veritable candyland.

With a Salvager fitted to your ship, you can attempt to salvage usable parts from wrecked ships in space. Using these salvaged parts, you can manufacture rigs. To salvage from a wrecked ship, you need to have the Salvaging skill trained to at least level 1, and you need to have a Salvager fitted on your ship. Each level of the Salvaging skill increases the chance of a successful salvage per cycle of your Salvager module. To use a Salvager, target a wrecked ship, remove any loot from the cargohold it will automatically get put into a jetcan if you Salvage before looting , and then get at least 5, meters away from the wreck. Activate your Salvager module and wait for it to finish a cycle. After the salvager finishes a cycle, you see one of three messages these are paraphrased; I don't remember the exact wording of the messages :. If you get the third message, your cargo hold will now have the salvaged items in it. If you get the first message, you should let your Salvager continue to cycle until you have received the second or third message. They have fairly high sub-warp speed and a fairly large cargo hold.

To salvage more distant wrecks, pilots either need to fly closer to them or use a tractor beam to pull them closer. You will find, that this method of salvaging requires some advanced level of managing bookmarks. There are several that have 8 high slots. The range of your directional scanner can be increased for more advanced warning you can often increase it to 1 AU without problems , but the further out you scan, the more likely you'll start getting hits of things that aren't necessarily coming towards your pocket. For a list of Tech 1 salvage see this table from Chruker. Therefore, unlike with K-space salvaging, stay with your fleet, keep an eye on D-Scan , and consider fitting Warp Core Stabilizer modules in place of Expanded Cargohold modules as Sleeper loot takes up comparatively little volume. Thanks mate! When a site was cleared of all NPCs, it will despawn shortly after. Even more ships there already when you warp in, extras can warp in. Re-created all the fittings that where lost on o.

Even though individual materials are usually not worth a lot, their value does add up - be aware of potential suicide gankers when hauling large amounts of salvage. This page was last edited on 24 February , at Where Milk and Honey Flows In the bigger nullsec blocks it is very common to rat with capitals and super captials or even Titans. Either there is an explanation that makes logical sense within the EVE lore, or it should not be implemented. Per page: 15 30 On the other hand, if time is not a factor, then salvage drones offer a very hands-off method of salvaging. Stealing, or "ninja looting" , is taking items from a wreck without permission. That is pretty good idea. Really good for cleaning up after Havens and such in Nullsec.
