During major storms, a large amount of activity is taking place in the field to restore power as safely and quickly as possible. Storm and restoration updates are sent by text or phone call to customers who are signed up to receive notifications from us. Customers may download our free app for iPhone or Android and use it to report an outage or check if power is restored on their street. Entergy Arkansas has engaged nearly 1, employees and contractors around the state working to restore power to remaining customers impacted with an outage as a result of the multiple rounds of severe thunderstorms on Sunday, June 18th. Restoration teams are responding to damages as quickly and safely as possible. As of this morning 6, Entergy customers are still without power. With the support of helicopters assisting in identifying damages, we have identified broken poles, spans of downed wire, 66 damaged transformers and 87 damaged cross arms to be replaced. If you are still without power, check for damages to the electrical equipment attached to your home or business. If the service line to your home or business has been damaged by this storm, you may have damage to your meter base.
