I grew up in the 60s, and the Elf on the Shelf was not as big as, say, Etch-a-Sketch. Having tried to stay awake for years on Christmas Eve to be "Santa" I'm the oldest mom on the planetI need my sleep!

It is now December, which means it is time to break out the decorations and make it look like Christmas threw up in our house!
