Update one: After eighteen months of use, my E jug is looking a little tired, despite careful washing, drying and dishwasher avoidance. It doesn't bother me and I'm still happy with the E overall. Update two : My mum wanted to buy a high-powered, long-lasting blender and asked me if she should get the Vitamix E I couldn't recommend it as she has mild arthritis in her hands and I know she'd struggle with the lid. I finally got a chance to use it over Christmas and was mightily impressed the design of the lid is lovely. If my E died outside of its warranty I'd replace it with the BlendTec immediately. I really needed a new blender though. My Nutribullet was on its last legs and I finally let it go when I found a small metal shard or jagged metal Krusty-O in my smoothie. The E has a 2 litre container so it was a no go.
After watching several reviews on YouTube and reading several articles I decided on the Vitamix e Explorian model.
The Vitamix Explorian E is a straightforward full-size blender. It's one of Vitamix's cheaper blenders with simple controls and without any automatic blending programs. Its ounce capacity is smaller than most Vitamix blenders, but it's dishwasher-safe and comes with a two-part lid and tamper. The Vitamix Explorian E is remarkable for multi-purpose use. It does an amazing job at blending smoothies, is exceptional at crushing ice, and can even blend hot foods like soups. It also looks and feels extremely well-built, making it a superb choice for professional use.
