Dragoon rework

The rework was initially scheduled to be released in the 6. Astrologian and Dragoon mains are wondering just how much work is needed, or if the overhauls are even necessary. While both jobs have undergone several changes in an attempt to make them more balanced, neither has seen a core rework. Astrologian has had changes to the card system and the Sect abilities while Dragoon has seen some button reductions and attack potency adjustments. However, player complaints for both jobs have gone down since the Endwalker tweaks, leading to further skepticism about the reworks. The Astrologian is a healing job based on drawing cards and placing buffs on team members. In addition to its ability to increase the party's attack power, the Astrologian also has an abundance of Off-Global Cooldowns or oGCDs. Despite its unique advantages, one issue that Astrologian players face is button bloating. There are several abilities that would benefit from getting condensed into just one button. One such ability is Minor Arcana, which is activated with Crown Play. Drawing from the Minor Arcana deck will reveal either the Lord of Crowns, an area-wide attack, or the Lady of Crowns, a healing ability. Astrologian players have long advocated for Minor Arcana and Crown Play to share the same button, as the draw always leads to the play. Another ability in need of change is third-tier Astrodyne. Astrodyne and all of its tiers could use buffs in order to incentivize players to obtain it.

Dragon , is a recurring job in the Final Fantasy series. While few in number, variants of the Dragoon have appeared in several titles, such as the Lancer and the Holy Dragoon. Dragoons practice their spear techniques from the backs of their wyvern mounts, and in battle they leap down from above to strike at their foes. Dragoons are powerful physical attackers who wield spears and lances. They wear special armor meant to invoke the imagery of dragons, including helmets shaped like a dragon's head, spikes, and wing and scale designs. Dragoons are sometimes more directly tied to dragons, such as owning them as pets or otherwise befriending them.
