Dragon age shards

Investigate the Shards is a war table scouting operation in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Acquired as part of the side quest Dragon age shards Collector which becomes available when the Inquisitor finds their first shard. The shards acquired by the Herald of Andraste are unlike anything I've encountered.

Shard Collector can be triggered very early in the game, and can be completed at any level. However, the area it takes you to, the Forbidden Oasis, has enemies that can reach Level 12, so you won't want to wander too far out of camp. This quest has two triggering requirements. To find a shard, you must first locate a glowing skull anywhere in the area. The skulls are marked on your map, and they're called Ocularums. When you use an Ocularum, you can seek glowing dots in the terrain. When spotted and centered in the camera, their location will be marked on your map.
