Dozers have been a constant staple of the Payday franchise , and they are deadly, to say the least. The developers created Dozers with heavy armor to charge at players on the map. Besides being difficult to take down, Dozers can rip players to shreds with their machine gun within seconds. For this reason and plenty of others, players should know how to take down Dozers in Payday 3. Players who want to take down Dozers will have difficulty doing so, but it is not impossible.

The Bulldozer is a type of special unit, designed to attack and overpower players through a combination of high defense and firepower. The front of his head is protected by an orange bullet-resistant glass shield through which his face can be seen covered by a white balaclava. The bulldozer's visor has a static, never changing health that must be broken to inflict headshot damage. The Bulldozer relies on his suit's endurance in combat. Upon seeing a target, if his target is within at least 7 meters he will start marching slowly towards the target, and shrug off any attacks directed towards him without even flinching.

Similar to its counterpart in PAYDAY: The Heist , the Bulldozer is nearly-indestructible, possessing an excessive amount of health and automatic immunity to headshots until his faceplates are destroyed. The outer faceplate has HP, and the inner visor possesses HP on all difficulties. Capable of inflicting immense damage against heisters if they're not aware of their surroundings, the Bulldozer must be neutralized with concentrated firepower from high damage-per-second, or high alpha damage weaponry. Upon deployment, they will approach a heister, attack, and encamp around the last location the player was seen. This grants the player a short moment to take cover or run around a corner to reload, heal, and regroup with teammates. Bulldozers usually tend to alternate between aggressive, close-quartered engagements and defensive tactical withdrawal. However, they have been known to aggressively rush the players until they're taken down.
