The level is relatively small, consisting of only four small rooms where you need to activate teleporters or press switches to receive keys, yet each room is populated with plentiful amounts of monsters, leading to quick and intense battles. Like the first three games in the series, Doom , Doom II: Hell on Earth , and Final Doom , Doom 64 has 32 levels but was intended to have six bonus levels that were removed due to cartridge capacity limitations. The six bonus levels have been included as a second campaign available after beating the main campaign or the secret level Hectic in the Doom 64 port. After the events of the main Doom campaign, the protagonist has been brought back to Earth and must fight his way back to Hell. Complete with hidden secrets, scour five of these six levels to find armor bonuses and energy cells. The first bonus level has three secrets.
