The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride is a global motorcycle event raising funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men's mental health programs [1] on behalf of the Movember Foundation. Open to all genders, The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride was founded in by Mark Hawwa in Sydney, Australia, and is centred around classic and vintage styled motorcycles. While the event encompasses classic and vintage style, it also welcomes niche custom motorcycle styles such as cafe racers, choppers, scramblers, and more. The ride provides an outline of dress and behaviour, suggesting riders wear dapper clothing, silk vests, tweed suits and behave courteously, donning not only classic style, but classic manners. All riders are encouraged to raise funds for prostate cancer research and men's mental health programs on behalf of charity partner the Movember Foundation. The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive is a celebration of classic style. The event takes place on Sunday, September 29th. It is an on-road motoring event, uniting pre designed classic cars, encouraging drivers and passengers around the world to dress dapper and drive for men's health. Mark decided a themed ride would be a great way of connecting niche motorcycle enthusiasts and communities while raising funds to support the men in our lives. Our inaugural event started in Sydney and quickly made its way around the world with thousands of dapper folks riding in solidarity to positively represent the global motorcycling community. Participant numbers sky-rocketed, and DGR began to spread even further. After an exciting , DGR showed no sign of slowing down in The event continued to grow in riders, funds raised, and the number of cities taking part. Our global community was forming, and the DGR passion boomed. This year, we began partnering with Movember as our official charity partner for DGR. Together with Movember, we have proudly continued to include a men's mental health focus alongside our prostate cancer goals ever since.
