The Denver Broncos are going to evaluate all of the top quarterback prospects in this year's draft class, but if they do not trade up they currently hold the 12th overall pick within the first round of April's draft to take a QB, Jarrett Stidham would get the first shot to be their starter under center for the season. There are some in the Broncos building that are intrigued by what Stidham has to offer at the position, but it's clear that he isn't considered the long-term answer at QB. Because of the salary cap predicament the Broncos are in in , they don't really have the funds necessary to go after Kirk Cousins, for instance. Stidham threw for yards, two TDs and a pick in the final two games of the season and would come with little fantasy upside if he's their starter in

Uwazurike will be fighting for a starting spot but Williams gets the edge going into camp given his experience. This depth chart will undergo major changes if Browning plays inside, but the Broncos have him working at outside linebacker for now. That presumably leaves Griffith and Singleton to compete for a starting spot next to Jewell. Regardless of where Browning ends up on the depth chart, Chubb, Gregory and Bonitto figure to be the top three pass rushers. The Broncos might end up playing Jones at nose especially if Purcell is a cap casualty , so Denver will likely draft another end, at the very least to provide more depth on the defensive line. The Broncos are expected to give Browning a look at outside linebacker this spring, which might make Singleton an early favorite to start next to Jewell by default. Browning has more long-term upside, though. Denver has pretty good depth on the edge, but with Chubb and Reed both scheduled to become free agents next year, the Broncos will probably draft another pass rusher later this month.
